About

Hi, I'm Retha!
So good to have you here.

Let's get to know each other

My birth names is Elisabetha Magaretha, Everyone knows me

as Retha. I was born in Delmas, Mphumalanga, and raised in

Germiston, Gauteng. My father was employed by the railways,

and my mother was a housewife. I am the eldest of four siblings.

Despite growing up in a financially disadvantaged household,

my parents did their utmost to provide for us. I aspire to empower

women worldwide, encouraging them to realise that they are capable

of achieving anything they set their minds to. Each of us harbors

unique passions and life goals. At times, we may feel discouraged,

believing that our aspirations are unattainable, leading us to

abandon our dreams. However, ladies, let me assure you: if you

desire something, pursue it wholeheartedly! At the age of 49,

I made the decision to pursue a B.Com in Financial Accounting,

a goal I had since I began my career. Despite life's challenges,

I had never been able to pursue this dream until last year when

I finally seized the opportunity to start my studies. As I compose

this blog post, I am overwhelmed with happiness as I am nearing

the completion of my first year of studies.
